Bedford Road Primary School is situated in the heart of Kempston. Our school converted from a Lower school to a Primary school in 2018. We currently have 370 children on roll in 14 classes.

In addition to our creative and well-qualified teaching staff, we have excellent teaching assistants who work across the school supporting and enhancing children’s learning. All our staff take huge pride in their work and in doing the best job they can to support the children’s education and social development.

We are very proud of the successes of our school – the excellent relationships we have with families and friends within our community and of the governors, staff and children who work hard to make our school a happy place where we can learn together in friendship. We hope that the close cooperation and partnership between school and home will enhance and support your child’s development throughout these important primary school years.
